UAV-H31-1 radar is a multi-target Height Measuring Millimeter Wave Radar independently researched and developed by Microbrain Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. It works at 77-81GHz frequency band with less than 2cm height measuring accuracy. It has the merits of small size, high sensitivity, low weight and easy to integrated with very stable performance. UAV-H30-1 is capable of detecting the height of both the crops and the ground surfaces at the same time. it could be used to various complex terrain environments in the applications of different UAV platform such as unmanned flying platforms, agricultural plant protection aircraft, helicopters, small airships, etc..

Features:

  1. Frequency Range: 77-81GHz
  2. Application: Height measurement
  3. Radar Type: Radar sensor
  4. Compatibility: Designed for UAV integration
  5. Precision: Offers precise measurements
  6. Environment: Suitable for various conditions

Package Includes:

1 x UAV-H31-1 Distance Height Radar Sensor Used in UAV Drone (UART)

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
