FST200-1000 Wind Speed Sensor is used to measure the wind speed and wind and convert it into an electrical signal. This signal can be directly transmitted to the recording device for processing.

FST200-1000 Wind Speed Sensor shell is made of aluminum alloy material, and the special mold precision die casting process is used. The size tolerance is very small on the surface accuracy. A good adaptability to a bad environment. The cable connecting the plug-in is military. It has good anti-corrosion and corrosion resistance. It can ensure the long-term use of the instrument. At the same time, it is matched with the internal import bearing system to ensure the accuracy of wind speed and wind direction collection.

Applications:

  1. Tower crane
  2. Wind turbines
  3. Large mechanical equipment
  4. Monitoring of working at heights
  5. Monitoring of weather stations
  6. Port and wharf
  7. Environmental protection

Features:

  1. Aluminum alloy material
  2. High measurement accuracy, strong reliability
  3. Excellent strong wind resistance, corrosion resistance
  4. Excellent strong anti-radio frequency, anti-electromagnetic interference
  5.  Non -contact magnetic sensing measurement
  6. Wide wind speed measurement range

Package Includes:

1 x FirstRate FST200-1000 Wind Speed Sensor, OutPut: 4 ~ 20mA, Range: 0.5~50m/S

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
