The FrSky RX8R Pro is an upgraded version of the RX8R receiver, it has all the same features including redundancy. The new 'Pro' version has higher precision and lower latency. Its deviation of PWM is reduced to 0.5us, and the delay of PWM output is 9ms less than that of the X8R in high-speed mode. Another feature that is new with the RX8R Pro is the reduction of interference caused by the ignition process.

Features:

  1. Strong anti-interference performance in the ignition process
  2. Higher precision of PWM
  3. Lower latency on the PWM output
  4. Support redundancy function
  5. Smart Port enabled and support telemetry data transmission
The Redundancy Function
For the master and slave receivers, when the master receiver goes into failsafe, the output signal from the slave receiver will be used until the master receiver works again. Note: When both the master and slave receivers go into the failsafe, the failsafe signal from the master receiver will be output; The slave receiver should be in no telemetry mode.

Setup Guide

1
Charge the vehicle battery
Connect the vehicle battery to the included charger. Charge fully (typically 1–2 hours) before first run. Never leave charging unattended.
2
Install batteries in the transmitter
Open the transmitter battery compartment and insert AA batteries as indicated by the polarity markings.
3
Power on in the correct order
Turn ON the transmitter FIRST, then the vehicle. This prevents unexpected runaway movement.
4
Trim and calibrate
If the vehicle pulls left or right at rest, use the steering trim knob on the transmitter to centre it.
5
Start slowly
Begin with half-throttle to get a feel for the controls. Gradually increase speed as you become familiar with the handling.
