if I use 12v-7amp battery for input I want 21v - 7 to 9Amp at the output end I know voltage will step -upbut whats about current??

So this will regulate voltage? Say I have batteries that can go from 2.6-4.3, will it only boost it by say 150% or will it regulate it so it is always a constant 5v? Thank you and sorry if this sounds confusing!

very strange behavior if I want to set 5V output then if voltage input goes below 3.6V the output voltage suddenly goes up and very unstable ?! 3.5V input = variable not steady 5.5-7.5V output, 3.4V input = 10V output, with 3.3V input = 8.5V ouput, 3.2V input = 6.4V output, 3.1V input = 4.5V output, 3.0V input = 3.6V ouput, 2.9V input = 2.95V output, 2.8V input = only 0.5V output , all done with a load of only 200mA

Hi, I want to remake a 14.4v battery torch using Bangood :3W High Power LED PCB Bulb Beads Chips Car Indoor Reading Lamp Aquarium Heat Sink and this buck boost converterwould this be a suitable combination? I think the V range seems to be as it will need to step down 14.4v to approx 3v but the LED spec for Ah is 700mah is that ok? Thanks
