The SmartElex AT89S52 Development Board can be used to evaluate and demonstrate the capabilities of the AT89S52 microcontroller. The MCU socket onboard provides support for 40 pin DIP package of AT89S52 controller. This board designed for the General Purpose application.

Board has onboard power supply circuit, Micro USB for USBASP programmer, Micro USB for CH340G serial communication with the computer and another serial device, power status LED, Reset switch, Buzzer, 8 User LED, DC motor driver L298P, 4x4 matrix keypad,16x2 LCD and port extensions for all 4 ports. You can power the Board through the DC plug-in jack. The onboard power regulator can handle anything from 9 to 15VDC.

Setup Guide

Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.

Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.

Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.

Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.

Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
