SOUSHINE FSR402-short tail, 14.7 mm, Force Sensing Shunt Resistor (20g~10Kg).The FSR 402 short tail model is a single-zone Force Sensing Resistor optimized for use in human touch control of electronic devices such as automotive electronics, medical systems, and in industrial and robotics applications. FSRs are two-wire devices. They are robust polymer thick film (PTF) sensors that exhibit a decrease in resistance with an increase in force applied to the surface of the sensor. Its active area is 12.7mm diameter, and the sensor is available with four connection options. Interlink Electronics' FSR 400 series is part of the single zone Force Sensing Resistor family.

Note: The actual product may vary in slight variation in  electronic components/marking/resemblance with the image shown depending upon quantity availability.

Features:

  1. Piezoresistive technology for accurate pressure sensing.
  2. Thin film design for flexibility and compactness.
  3. Made of PET material for durability.
  4. IP65 protection (dust and water-resistant).
  5. High sensitivity for precise pressure measurement.
  6. Primarily used in measuring instruments.
  7. Reliable and long-lasting performance.

Package Includes:

1 x SOUSHINE FSR402-short tail, 14.7 mm, Force Sensing Shunt Resistor (20g~10Kg)

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
