TOPSwitch™-JX cost effectively incorporates a 725V power MOSFET, high-voltage switched current source, multi-mode PWM control, oscillator, thermal shutdown circuit, fault protection, and other control circuitry onto a monolithic device. It features EcoSmart™ - energy-efficient technology, high design flexibility for low system cost, and extensive protection features. Typical applications include notebook or laptop adapters, generic adapters, printers, LCD monitors, set-top boxes, PC or LCD TV standby, and audio amplifiers. It also features output overvoltage protection (OVP), line Undervoltage (UV) detection that prevents turn-off glitches, line overvoltage (OV) shutdown that extends line surge withstand, and accurate thermal shutdown with large hysteresis (OTP).
