The Waveshare Luckfox Pico Ultra RV1106 Linux Micro Development Board represents a cutting-edge convergence of technologies designed to empower developers with versatile computing capabilities. At its core, it integrates a sophisticated array of processors, including ARM Cortex-A7, RISC-V MCU, NPU (Neural Processing Unit), and ISP (Image Signal Processor). This amalgamation enables a wide spectrum of applications ranging from AI inference tasks to real-time image processing and general-purpose computing.

Features:

  1. Single-core ARM Cortex-A7 32-bit core with integrated NEON and FPU
  2. Built-in Rockchip self-developed 4th generation NPU, features high computing precision and supports int4, int8, and int16 hybrid quantization. The computing power of int8 is 0.5 TOPS, and up to 1.0 TOPS with int4
  3. Built-in self-developed third-generation ISP3.2, supports 5-Megapixel, with multiple image enhancement and correction algorithms such as HDR, WDR, multi-level noise reduction, etc.
  4. Features powerful encoding performance, supports intelligent encoding mode and adaptive stream saving according to the scene, saves more than 50% bit rate of the conventional CBR mode so that the images from camera are high-definition with smaller size
  5. Built-in 16-bit DRAM DDR3L, which is capable of sustaining demanding memory bandwidths

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
