The DFRobot Gravity Digital Piranha LED Module (Blue) is an easy-to-use, high-quality LED light module designed for Arduino and other microcontroller projects. Operating at 3.3 to 5V, it emits bright blue light (460–475nm) with a 65° viewing angle. The LED is digitally controlled via a single pin (LOW to turn on, HIGH to turn off), and its brightness can be finely adjusted using PWM signals for smooth dimming effects. Compact and lightweight, it’s perfect for interactive lighting, ambient light sensing, or educational kits that require vivid blue illumination and precise control.

Features:

  1. Bright blue LED light with wavelength of 460–475nm
  2. Operates on a wide voltage range: 3.3 to 5V DC
  3. Digital control pin supports simple ON/OFF control
  4. PWM compatible for smooth brightness adjustment
  5. Compact size: 30 x 22 mm, lightweight at 5g
  6. 65° wide viewing angle for effective light dispersion
  7. Plug-and-play compatibility with Arduino and microcontrollers
  8. Comes with a digital cable for quick connection

Package Includes:

1 x LED light module-Blue

1 x Digital Cable (SKU:FIT0011)

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
