The GT-NUCL1633K1 is the latest miniature fingerprint sensor with extensive enhancements on power consumption and user flexibility from ADH-Tech. It allows 360-degree rotation, which enables maximum performance without compromising on design aesthetics. It even works well in less-than-ideal conditions like when a finger is wet. The product integrates an optical sensor, light source, and touch under a glass cover. This allows it to instantaneously capture high-resolution images of the fingerprint while rapidly outputting the captured images through the high-speed SPI interface to the MCU for the recognition algorithm. Note: For more technical details and Programming  go through Datasheet and Programming guide in the attachment section

Features:

  1. Under Glass Sensor Positioning (No ESD concern)
  2. Will support an additional 2mm of cover glass if needed
  3. Allows for wet finger recognition
  4. Indication LED Illumination in the ring of the device (green)
  5. Matching Functionality Embedded in the Device
  6. 3.3V Supply Voltage
  7. 216 x 216-pixel array
  8. 1024 Grayscale Image Quality
  9. 30 Fingerprint Storage Capacity
  10. UART Interface (115200bps Baud)
  11. 20°-70°C Operating Temperature

Package Includes:

1 x Fingerprint module GT-NUCL1633

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
