Specification:

Introduction: Cardputer Mesh Kit is a portable communication terminal kit that integrates LoRa Mesh networking with global positioning capabilities. The kit centers around the Cardputer-Adv core controller and the Cap LoRa-1262 communication expansion module. Cardputer-Adv is a card-sized portable programmable controller built on the Stamp-S3A module (based on ESP32-S3FN8). It features a 1.14" LCD screen and a 56-key compact keyboard for convenient on-site information display and command input. A built-in 1750mAh lithium battery ensures extended standalone operation. The device integrates an ES8311 audio codec, MEMS microphone, 1W speaker, and 3.5mm audio jack for voice interaction and audio output. Additional features include a 6-axis IMU BMI270, an infrared emitter, a microSD card slot, an HY2.0-4P Grove interface, and an EXT 2.54-14P expansion bus. The chassis supports magnetic attachment and is compatible with LEG0 mounting holes. Cap LoRa-1262 serves as the communication expansion module of the kit. It connects to the Cardputer-Adv via the EXT 2.54-14P interface, drawing power and control signals directly from the host — plug-and-play with no additional configuration required. The module is built around the SX1262 LoRa solution, supporting the 868 ~ 923 MHz band with a receive sensitivity of -147 dBm and a transmit power of +22 dBm. An RP-SMA external antenna and RF shielding ensure reliable long-range communication with strong interference immunity. An integrated AT6668 GNSS module with a built-in ceramic antenna supports multi-constellation positioning including GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and Galileo. The module also includes an HY2.0-4P interface for connecting external sensors. Cardputer Mesh Kit comes pre-installed with Meshtastic firmware, making it ready to use out of the box — no complex development required to join a LoRa Mesh network. The Cardputer-Adv and Cap LoRa-1262 work seamlessly together for easy configuration and intuitive positioning, making the kit well-suited for outdoor communications, node deployment, location tracking, and industrial inspection.

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
